Test and Tag for Builders and construction workers
Construction has it's own unique conditions and environment in terms of treatment of electrical appliances, tools, leads and cords. As such this category has a more rigorous testing requirement.
To reduce the risk to workers in construction, electrical test and tag, or PAT testing is required every 3 months. This includes but not limited to Builders, Plumbers, Concrete layers, Brick layers, Plasterers, Roofers, Scaffold workers and Painters.
With greater chance for product damage due to the conditions, construction sites require extra attention to eliminate the risk to staff, employees and contractors, and require equipment and tool testing every three months as per AS/NZS 3760.
